Cyclopes!

After sailing through the night, we have decided to stop at another one of the mysterious islands that we have visited. We found some wild goats grazing in a field and decided to feast, and feast we did! Then, we crossed over to the mainland and came across a cave filled  with sheep, milk, and cheese! We decided to grab some and feast again in the cave! Man, were our stomachs full!

Suddenly, a one-eyed giant appeared at the mouth of the cave. We automatically assumed that he was the inhabitant and were terrified! However, he turned out to be kind and invited us to eat whatever we wanted! We found out that his name was Polyphemus, son of Poseidon.

Suddenly, his hospitality was replaced with hostility! As we were leaving, he ate two of my men and imprisoned the rest of my troops for future meals! However, I devised a plan to escape. I grabbed a wooden staff, and heated it in the fire, then when Polyphemus returned, I got him drunk with wine. He groggily asked for my name and I replied with Nobody. In drunken stupor, we accepted and passed out. I then asked my men to drive the staff into his single eye. He wakes up screaming,
"Nobody's killing me!"
I did this because Posidon would probably have heard his son, but because Polyphemus said nobody, the sea god certainly disregarded it. As Polyphemus was blind, my troops and I clung to the bellies of the Polyphemus' sheep as he led them out of the disclosed cave to graze. We then dashed into the safety of our trimeres and set off!
I rate Polyphemus' Island 7/10 Odysseus Oars because it is safe to visit now because he is blind, and also of the abundance of food!
