City states form all over Greece gathered to celebrate food. Some very delicious and popular dishes were: Spartan pork stew, Salted fish from the small Boeotian city of Akraiphia, Athenian olive oil, Aegean fresh breads, and a wide majority of fresh fruits. It is noted that the Spartan food booth completely lacked anything other than meat. This is because Spartan cooks are only allowed to cook meat. Strictly meat. Other than food, there was a nice performance by the muses, and of course, dancing. My personal favourite is the bread from Aegean. The crust is just right and the bread is soft and warm.
